As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you play a crucial role in delivering the exceptional service our clients have come to expect. You’ll be responsible for managing loan files from submission to closing, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. This is NOT a remote role. This is a full-time role in our Dearborn, MI office. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly with underwriters, clients, and team members, and knows how to keep deals on track. You’ll work closely with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and borrowers to move loans forward quickly and efficiently—because at Sonic Loans®, we don’t just close loans—we save them. Responsibilities: • Order property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records to help process mortgage loan files • Adhere to all lending and regulatory guidelines and policies while preparing the loan file • Document the loan process from origination to approval through our system • Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval • Prepare files for closing, coordinate with title, and ensure timely delivery of closing disclosures and closing packages • Update loan status in LOS and CRM systems to reflect real-time progress • Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, title agents, and real estate agents to ensure smooth closings • Prepare files for closing, coordinate with title, and ensure timely delivery of closing disclosures and closing packages Qualifications: • Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills • Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans • Accounting, finance, or business Associate’s degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required • 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required Compensation: $15 - $18 hourly
