Experienced Pest Control Technician Position

As a Technician at Mosquito & Pest Authority, you will perform pest control services on both commercial and residential properties using proven products and techniques. Our Treatment Specialists are expected to deliver expert pest control services efficiently and courteously. A successful candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities during a typical workday. The main duty involves identifying and eliminating pests from various properties. If you have a commitment to excellent customer service and are capable of physical work, this position could be a good fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of interior and exterior areas to identify pests.
• Advise customers on chemical and natural pest control solutions.
• Provide estimates for one-time and ongoing services.
• Set traps for rodents and apply sprays for insects like termites and ants.
• Remove nests for wasps, hornets, and bees safely and effectively.
• Use bait and seal entry points to prevent rodent access.
• Recommend products and services for better pest management.
• Handle customer inquiries, document job details accurately, and report any issues for quick resolution.
• Work flexible hours, including some weekends, to meet job requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the company vehicle and drive to client sites professionally.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License with an excellent driving record.
• Basic knowledge of general pest control.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing, moving, and climbing.
• Availability for extended hours and weekend work as needed.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• At least 5 years of experience in pest control.
