Grand Canyon Harley-Davidson is currently looking for a highly motivated Motorcycle Service Technician. Must be able to repair and maintain both customer and dealer owned motorcycles within the allotted time schedule. Must strive to ensure customers receive a top rated experience. Candidates must have the passion for motorcycling as well as a high level of self-pride in your work. Candidates must be honest, self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on the highest of customer service standards.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform service on customer & dealer motorcycles in accordance with Harley-Davidson specs
Demonstrate prompt, dependable and high quality workmanship
Complete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time period
Maintain productivity (time spent working on billable jobs) as close to 100% as possible
Accept work assignments from Service Writer/Manager
Request parts for jobs
Ensure proper completion and filing of job paperwork
Keep work areas clean and assist others with maintaining shop cleanliness
Maintain technical qualification by completing necessary training assigned by Service Manager
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
MMI Graduate and/or Harley-Davidson Technician Experience Only
Maintain up to date mechanical knowledge of motorcycles
Understanding of computer systems and have good computer skills
Enthusiasm for motorcycles – particularly Harley-Davidson
Dealership experience preferred
Technicians are required to own their own tools
Must exhibit a strong work ethic and work well in a team environment
Motorcycle endorsement/license required with clean driving record
