Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in professional motorsport
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading a team and developing direct reports
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership position within an engineering environment including experience with working directly with customers within the complete customer journey cycle
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer facing automotive specific calibration and/or application software development
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience – specifically demonstrate knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply these principles, tools and techniques to plan, manage and execute projects to successful completion
- Must be capable to travel internationally on short notice
- Must be fluent in English (written and verbal) - Native or minimum of C1 ( CEFR/ ACTFL)
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing development budgets with P&L responsibility
- Minimum 3 years of cross-functional experience in technical sales or product management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in requirements capture and integration in both global and regional perspectives
- Demonstrates collaborative skill sets and has a proven track record in effective collaboration across multiple business domains and cultures
- Demonstrates experience in proactively engaging with customers / key stakeholders to exchange opinions, gain insights, build relationships, and find ways to create shared value
- Demonstrates strong technical and business acumen and has intrinsic motivation to achieve results in both domains simultaneously
- Experience working with hybrid and/or battery electric vehicles
- Experience with motorsport engineering tools (data acquisition systems, common scripting languages, communication protocols, hardware diagnostic tools, etc)
- German language skills
