SUMMARY
Ambassadors are goodwill hosts and public relations representatives for Cranmore Mountain Resort, with the goal of engaging with guests to ensure a positive and memorable resort experience. Ambassadors aid, educate, and promote safe skiing/snowboarding codes and policies, and as a last resort, enforces them. Ambassadors provide assistance where needed, whether on-hill or in the base area, with the primary purpose to enhance the guest experience. This is a non-paid (volunteer) position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- First and foremost, to be a Goodwill Ambassador for Cranmore Mountain Resort.
- To promote safe skiing/boarding for all guests at Cranmore by promoting the safe skier/boarding code (per state of New Hampshire RSA 225-A: 24). This will be accomplished through Example and Education, and as a last resort, Enforcement.
- To assist Ski Patrol at accident scenes, and control traffic.
- To patrol the slopes and assist guests in their day of skiing/boarding.
- Ambassador duties – direct guests to services (tickets, rentals, food venues, trail etc) while stationed with in the base area or on the hill.
- To assist lift attendants and/or mountain crew when needed.
- Arrive for shifts in excellent physical & mental condition.
- Assist in all company and department training programs as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Flexible working hours; includes holidays and weekends.
