The PACE Director bears primary responsibility for planning, organization, operations, health plan administration, financial strength and stability, human resources, marketing and leadership. As a capitation-based health plan, PACE covers every service covered by Medicare and Medicaid combined, not only at the PACE Center, but in hospitals, physician offices, dental, vision and hearing practices and assisted living facilities and nursing homes, depending on individual need. The program maintains an enrollment of 90 to 100 participants. PACE has one center, an experienced interdisciplinary team and a network of contracted health care providers.
