Overview: We are seeking an experienced Restoration Project Manager/Estimator to oversee and manage plumbing projects in compliance with prevailing wage regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing project management, deep knowledge of prevailing wage laws, and exceptional leadership skills. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication with owners, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
2 years min experience restoration project manager (reconstruction)
Prepare/Review Change Orders
Must be able to review proposals, contracts and subcontracts
Must have good verbal and writing skills
Some basic accounting skills required
Valid Driver License
Job Description:
Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier quotes
Read and interpret plans, specifications and other documentation to prepare bids and quotes
Participates in project review meetings, when required
Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates
Prepare project schedule, project budget, and bid submittals
Manage day to day activity on projects
Review all change orders, contracts and other job-related correspondence
Field Experience a plus
Must be physically able to sit at a desk and work at a computer for extended periods of time
Must be punctual and reliable
Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel,and Outlook
Ability to multitask and work under pressure and be organized
Professional, polished appearance with positive attitude
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring compliance with prevailing wage regulations.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project requirements and identify potential challenges.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for plumbing projects, considering prevailing wage rates and other relevant factors.
Monitor project expenditures and financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and addressing budget variances as needed.
Lead and motivate project teams, including plumbers, contractors, and support staff, to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality work.
Provide guidance, support, and training to team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and compliance.
Implement and enforce quality assurance standards and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Prepare and present regular progress reports, including project status updates, budget summaries, and compliance documentation.
Proven experience in plumbing project management, with a focus on prevailing wage projects (preferred).
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project objectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
