Description of Duties:
A Data Migration and Warehouse Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, testers, and business analysts to ensure successful delivery of integration and data migration deliverables. The individual will handle all aspects of data migration, including mapping, cleansing, validation, and transformation of data from legacy systems to new systems.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Overall having 10 - 15 years of MuleSoft, Data Migration and Data Warehouse Implementation experience.
- Design and architect end-to-end integration solutions including API-led connectivity, message routing, mediation, and data transformation for Data Migration between the project’s legacy system and new system.
- Develop and maintain detailed implementation and migration documentation, including integration points, and configuration details.
- Extensive hands-on experience with custom APIs, connectors and data mappings using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule ESB, Anypoint studio, Anypoint manager, Anypoint connectors, Anypoint Runtime and optimize MuleSoft applications using Data Weave for complex data transformations.
- Experience in developing ETL processes - ETL control tables, error logging, auditing, data quality and should be able to implement reusability, parameterization, workflow design, etc.
- Configure and deploy MuleSoft applications to on-premises or cloud-based environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance for data migration and integrations.
- Implement security measures, such as OAuth, JWT, or SSL, to protect APIs and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, data testing, and performance testing of MuleSoft applications to ensure quality and reliability as well as the ability to design ETL unit test cases and debug ETL Mappings.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and best practice adherence
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MuleSoft integrations, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure that data migration and integration solutions meet their requirements.
