District Manager (Multi-Unit) – Restaurant Operations
Position Overview
We are looking for a results-oriented Multi-Unit District Manager to oversee 4-6 restaurant locations. This leadership role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in operational management, team development, and financial performance while ensuring top-tier guest experiences. The District Manager will drive success by optimizing daily operations, fostering high-performing teams, and maximizing profitability across assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple restaurants, ensuring consistency in service, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to maintain efficiency and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, provide coaching, and resolve operational challenges.
- Analyze P&L statements for each location, identifying opportunities to boost sales and control costs.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance financial performance, drive revenue, and manage expenses.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure each location meets financial and operational targets.
- Identify growth opportunities, including market expansion and local community engagement, to strengthen brand awareness.
- Recruit, train, and develop General Managers and store leadership teams to build a high-performing workforce.
- Cultivate a positive, motivating work environment aligned with company culture and values.
- Conduct performance evaluations, offer continuous coaching, and implement development plans.
- Address employee relations matters proactively to ensure team engagement and retention.
- Maintain brand consistency across all locations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
- Lead local store marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence and community connections.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership to align district operations with company goals.
- Drive innovation by implementing best practices, streamlining processes, and leveraging technology.
- Partner with vendors and suppliers to optimize purchasing, control costs, and maintain product quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of multi-unit leadership in the restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial strategy.
- Operational Expertise: Hands-on experience in restaurant operations, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Customer Focus: Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and fostering community engagement.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective collaboration.
