Salary: Up to $45 per hour

Music teachers are hired as part-time independent contractors. Hourly rates are commensurate with experience and skill level.

Qualifications:

• Must showcase an ability to proficiently play an instrument
• Teaching experience with applied pedagogies based on Dalcroze, Orff, Kodály, Suzuki, or Gordon Music Learning Theory is preferred.
• Must have experience working with children

Daily Responsibilities Can Include:

• Tailoring group general music classes to meet the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Using movement, dance, ASL, fingerplays, instruments, props, listening games, stories, and singalongs to teach musical concepts and support music immersion.
• Incorporating the company’s bi-monthly international music curriculum and proprietary publications into lessons.
• Deepening your understanding of early childhood music pedagogy through experience, experimentation, feedback from the center director, and professional development opportunities.
