Kids Place Night Supervisor - Lexington Club

Our goal is to create a safe, fun and friendly environment with quality supervision for our members and their children.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude

Ability to handle challenging customer issues with patience, sensitivity and professionalison

Ensures all registration and check in/checkout procedures are followed

Care for children in a defined area of the gym for the attending member(s).

Interact with the children in a positive and age appropriate manner.

Organize and participate in recreational and educational activities, such as games, drawing, handicrafts, and reading to children .

Maintain discipline with the children and initiate other measures to control behavior.

Keep security records on individual children ensuring that all children have a registration form on file.

Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in Kids Club area.

Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and supporting positive self-concepts.

Job Qualifications:

Must have high school diploma or 2 years prior work experience in a daycare/childcare environment required.

Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification required. (We can provide training)

Excellent communication with children required.

Excellent communication with adult parent(s) required.

Have the ability to make children feel secure.

This position requires daily walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting and reaching. Applicants must have previous child care experience.

This is a part time position.

The hours for day supervisor are Mon-Fri 8-1pm (and fill in for night supervisor if needed) (25-30 hrs)

The hours for night supervisor are Mon-Friday 4-8pm and Saturdays 8-1pm.
