Position Title: Senior Instructional Systems Specialist / Curriculum Developer
Location: NASIC, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio

Position Overview:
The Senior Instructional Systems Specialist / Curriculum Developer will lead the design, development, and delivery of Analytic Tradecraft training courses tailored to NASIC’s mission. The position requires the application of Instructional System Design (ISD) principles and practices to intelligence training and education. The individual will interface with Intelligence Community (IC) members and DoD agencies to enhance the training capabilities at NASIC, ensuring that all training adheres to ICD standards and meets the unique needs of NASIC's intelligence mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Design, revise, and implement instructional materials including lesson plans, student study guides, assessments, and performance evaluations in accordance with ISD principles.
Analytic Tradecraft Instruction: Lead and facilitate Analytic Tradecraft training courses, delivering instruction both in-person and virtually using platforms like Blackboard and Microsoft Teams.
Training Evaluation: Collect and analyze course evaluation data using the Kirkpatrick model (Levels 1-3), providing feedback and recommendations for course improvement.
Collaboration: Work with NASIC’s Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the Government Task Manager (GTM) to refine training content and ensure alignment with NASIC’s intelligence needs.
Mentorship and Coaching: Provide mentorship to NASIC personnel and guide them through formative and summative assessments.
Course Material Maintenance: Manage and update training content on designated Learning Management Systems (LMS), including hosting and maintaining materials on SharePoint.
Continuous Improvement: Conduct training needs assessments and gap analyses, ensuring that all content remains relevant and effective in the evolving intelligence landscape.
Skills and Qualifications:
Instructional Systems Design (ISD): Expertise in applying ISD principles to create training materials that meet NASIC’s unique intelligence mission requirements.
Analytic Tradecraft Expertise: Extensive experience in providing analytic tradecraft training, including knowledge of ICD standards (203, 206, 208, 710).
Leadership and Team Building: Proven leadership skills in managing curriculum development projects and cross-functional teams.
Technology Proficiency: Proficient in LMS platforms (e.g., Blackboard), Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint for training delivery and content management.
Training & Development Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and delivering training programs in a military or intelligence setting.
Communication Skills: Excellent public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
Project Management: Experience managing training programs and coordinating with stakeholders to meet deadlines and objectives.
Desired Experience:
Senior Instructor/Trainer: A minimum of 10 years of experience in intelligence, curriculum development, or training.
Military Background: Experience working in or supporting military intelligence operations, particularly within NASIC or similar intelligence organizations.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Master Training Specialist (MTS), or other relevant training certifications.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Intelligence Studies, Organizational Leadership, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
