Job Description
NBC Sports Boston is seeking an intern who will work side by side with our content producers across our different platforms (linear, digital, social, audio). This position is perfect for students who are studying broadcast journalism and are interested in working in Sports. Students will be responsible for communicating with others on a variety of levels, using a wide range of communication tools, assisting with research, brainstorming ideas, archiving/logging feeds, creating graphics, writing copy, and organizing and prioritizing tasks.
Also, this is an excellent internship for those students who enjoy a fast-paced atmosphere and have a desire to gain experience working in the different stages of production. This internship is an excellent learning experience - interns will have the opportunity to work directly with NBC Sports Boston producers, production teams, and talent.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
Must be willing to work in Needham, MA.
