Job Description
The Manager, Strategy and Transformation, reporting to the Director, Strategic Transformation, will serve as a key member of the team supporting transformative initiatives related to NBCUniversal’s content supply chain and operations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with Global TV Distribution, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Digital Distribution and with internal Technical Operations teams to drive transformational change.
The position requires a highly driven and politically skilled individual who has a passion for analysis, problem-solving and visual story telling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain close communication with the Film & TV Studios business partners/senior leaders, understand pain-points, initiate tactics and strategies to resolve and accelerate business growth
Oversee team of young professionals, driving key accountability procedures & KPIs between Film & TV Studios and Media Operations
Join high priority business discussions regarding large deal planning.
Deliver prompt, professional solutions for customer inquiries.
Collaborate with operations, business, and product teams to triage issues, track progress on high profile deals, and be point person for executive level updates and project health statuses.
Set KPIs, perform prioritization and value evaluation for a portfolio of innovative and transformation projects
Drive change management through driving a growth mindset approach through projects, organizational alignments and transformative initiatives
Lead transformational projects with internal and external stakeholders anchored on Film & TV Studio’s transformational roadmap
Design roadmap for prioritization of opportunities, balancing short-term wins and long-term LRP alignment while capturing productivity gains and revenue impact
Develop and implement a monitoring, evaluation and reporting framework to support strategic implementation
Complete all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
5 years of relevant professional industry experience and/or proven history of managing transformative initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent professional experience
Flexibility to work across multiple time zones to support global initiatives and engage with leaders across various territories.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Proven history of maintaining confidentiality while managing large scale projects
Proven ability to effectively collaborate and communicate (verbal and written/virtual and in-person) with customers, partners, and stakeholders across multiple departments and functions
Ability to balance numerous priorities in a deadline-oriented environment, respond well to pressure, and remain flexible in approach
Possess strong interpersonal skills to collaborate both in-person and virtually with senior leaders, partnered teams, and global clients
Ability to work independently as a self-starter, utilizing available resources and always looking for opportunities and solutions
Passion for media distribution and supply chain optimization, keeping up to date with emerging platforms and the latest technology trends
Proficient with Office 365 Suite/ Apps (Teams, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.)
Proficient with Tableau

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
