    Job Description

    Reporting to the SVP of Global Strategy, Business Development, and Strategic Partnerships in close collaboration with the EVP, Chief Commercial Officer you will: 

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead business development of partnership strategies that align with Fandango’s, VUDU’s, NBCU’s and Comcast’s Direct-to-Consumer Transactional business’s product and business goals.
    • Lead a team in identifying, prioritizing, negotiating, delivering, and managing distribution, content, and technology partnerships and other third-party relationships in order to implement business priorities. 
    • Lead contract negotiations to ensure that specific business, operational and implementation requirements are incorporated into agreements and manage internal stakeholder departmental approvals (Finance, Legal, Product Marketing, and Operations). 
    • Perform and coordinate product, technology and distribution opportunity assessments including market and competitive analyses, technology & business due diligence and deal structure analysis. 
    • Manage, and be the primary liaison, with strategic distribution partners and selective technology partners. Build and maintain strong relationships. Be highly available and responsive to partner requests and enquiries.
    • Increase revenue for a portfolio of strategic partnerships.
    • Conduct quarterly business reviews for Strategic accounts and upsell new products and services
    • Prepare and present presentations to company management
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • 12+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or similar role ideally at a media and entertainment company, leading platform and product partnerships efforts

    Desired Characteristics:

    • A strong track record of defining and executing high impact partnership strategies; Broad and deep experience establishing and managing large and complex partnerships
    • Strong commercial and product instincts and the ability to prioritize and guide cross-functional teams through competing demands and to address complex problems
    • Technical acumen and ability to understand product strategy and use this understanding to define requirements for scaling products and operations through partnerships
    • Strategic thinker who serves as thought leader and partner, with a growth mindset
    • Excellent negotiation capabilities, with a track record of closing deals that unlock value
    • Experience leading and inspiring a team
    • Exceptionally strong communication skills, in both verbal and written form, and ability to influence stakeholders across a wide variety of functions
    • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
    • Travel within the US required
