    Job Description

    As a Lifestyle Producer for TODAY with HODA & JENNA, you will be responsible for pitching, developing, and producing live and taped pieces for live, daily broadcast. This person should have an enthusiasm for identifying, booking and producing human interest and lifestyle content, including fashion, beauty and wellness. Our Lifestyle Producer will work directly with the Senior Producers, AP’s and Researchers to bring segments to fruition, delivering top quality content while maintaining  journalistic and corporate standards. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Pitch, produce and write original content, primarily for broadcast, including researching, conducting interviews, writing and editing scripts, field producing and shooting, as well as overseeing editing
    • Secure guest bookings in a competitive environment
    • Work with Standards & Legal Team to ensure Editorial Standards of all segments
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years’ editorial experience working in network news or talk show production
    • Experience working with a live audience
    • Must be able to shoot and edit
    • Strong journalistic writing skills, research skills, and editorial judgment
    • Must be willing to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, often with short notice
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Must be willing to work in NYC
