Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Intern to work side by side with the NBC Chicago, NBC Sports Chicago, and Telemundo Chicago sports departments. Candidates should have a strong feel for Chicago sports and a passion for sports media. This intern will assist producers and talent with creating stories, writing scripts, building graphics, editing tapes, and other assorted production duties across a variety of sports programming. This internship will help develop the candidate’s skills in many aspects of sports production, as well as build practical skills with various media management, editing, and rundown software.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
Must have a good knowledge of and passion for sports and be familiar with the Chicago sports teams
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal
IN-PERSON/HYBRID Must be willing to work in Chicago, IL.
Desired Characteristics:
Must have strong news judgment, be creative, and be willing & able to work in the fast-paced environment of live television
Students with class standing of junior or above preferred
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
