    Job Description

    The Media Services Department at SNY is looking for a New York sports fan who is interested in sports news production, editing, organizing, and baseball. This is a hands-on position where you will learn a lot and help us with various projects.

    Here are the skills required, along with internship responsibilities:

    • Responsible for screening / logging Mets games, press conferences, interviews, and taped programs to prepare for editing
    • Assist in daily organization of the library 
    • Fulfil archiving requests
    • Strong interest in the NY sports, editing, and television production
    • Basic knowledge in editing and AVID Interplay is a plus
    • Great organizational skills and has excellent track record for following through on projects
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree majoring Media or Television Production, final semester preferred 
    • A self-motivated individual with a passion for broadcasting, who is capable of multitasking and functioning in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and creative skills
    • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Has a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by SNY.
    • Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

     

    Hourly rate: $15
