    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced NDT Level II Technician with expertise in Non-Destructive Testing methods for aerospace components. The ideal candidate will perform inspections, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest quality standards in aerospace manufacturing and maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. NDT Inspections:
      • Perform Non-Destructive Testing using approved methods such as Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
      • Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results according to applicable codes, standards, and procedures.
    2. Compliance and Standards:
      • Ensure inspections are conducted in compliance with ASNT, NAS 410, FAA, and customer requirements.
      • Adhere to all quality and safety regulations, including AS9100 standards.
    3. Documentation and Reporting:
      • Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare detailed reports.
      • Communicate findings to engineering, production, and quality teams.
    4. Equipment Maintenance:
      • Perform routine calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment.
      • Identify and address any equipment-related issues promptly.
    5. Collaboration and Support:
      • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
      • Support training efforts for other technicians or team members as needed.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Education:
      • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in aerospace or engineering preferred.
    • Certifications:
      • ASNT Level II certification in applicable NDT methods.
      • Familiarity with NAS 410 certification standards is a plus.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on NDT experience in the aerospace industry.
      • Experience working with composites, metals, and aerospace-grade materials is preferred.
    • Skills:
      • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Capable of standing, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
    • Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) to interpret NDT indications.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAA regulations.
    • Experience with advanced NDT techniques such as phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) or digital radiography.
