JOB DESCRIPTION Our Loan Processors work closely with our Loan Officers to ensure a timely and accurate experience for our clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Know full process for Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and Bond programs
· Thorough knowledge of the LOS (Loan Origination System) using and completing processing checklists.
· Work closely with LO and Loan Coordinator to ensure all documents are obtained for underwriting submission in a timely manner.
· Be able to calculate income (including self-employed), read credit reports and a preliminary title report and understand what to look for on bank statements.
· Understand and know all details of the Purchase Contract
· Understand Fannie and Freddie guidelines and be able to read AUS to satisfy all condition of the AUS prior to loan submission.
· Stay up to date on program guidelines and changes
· Maintain good communication with all parties to the loan and be the main contact for the borrower
· Submit complete files to underwriting with quality in mind
· Clear conditions with a 24hr response time
· Stay on top of rediscloses to ensure no cures come from the loans you are working on.
· Submit loan to closing and clear all processor funding conditions prior to loan funding
· Return all emails and phone calls, within one hour, during your assigned shift
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience:
· Mortgage processing experience with 2+ years industry experience (Preferred)
· Extensive knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loan programs
· 2 + years of experience in mortgage industry preferred
· LendingPad experience a plus
· Proven customer service skills
· Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
· Must have proven experience processing FHA loans
· Strong understanding of GFE, TIL, and RESPA rules
· Proven ability to fund a minimum of 20 loans per month
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
