Job Description:
Technical or advanced degree or 5+years of equivalent maintenance experience
Your responsibilities as a Lead Diesel Technician will include, but are not limited to:- Handle organization and tracking of PO's
- Organize the shop workload for the shop technicians
- Be able to order parts for the shop
- Work well with the Shop Service Manager on leadership tasks
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment
- Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks & trailers
- Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
- Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
Pay: $25 - $30/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM
Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

To become part of the NFI team you: - Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Own necessary essential tools
- Have a technical or advanced degree or 5+years of equivalent maintenance experience
- Have the ability to obtain a Class B license
- ASE Certification in 4 areas (preventative maintenance and brakes preferred)
Salary info:
