We are hiring a motivated, full-time sales and consulting professional to bring clients’ accessory dwelling unit (ADU) ideas to life for our Sacramento, San Jose & San Diego region. We seek for every client to walk away with confidence, peace of mind, and reassurance they are working with the right company.
The ideal candidate is a highly sociable, yet organized and analytical problem-solver, who cares about delivering high-quality results to clients. Your job will be to go on high-quality consultation appointments with clients to help them determine their best options and scope of work for building an ADU on their property. You will conduct follow-ups with leads until they are ready to get started on their journey with us.
Our ideal applicant is self-motivated, has a passion for delivering incredible service, a tenacity for follow-up, and skills in sales conversations and closing. They should also possess an analytical aptitude to conduct research through multiple online sources, including state laws and local municipal codes.

Compensation:
$100,000 - $200,000+ in commission
Responsibilities:
•\tPerform client needs analysis to understand goals and concerns related to their ADU project
•\tPrepare reports detailing findings related to pertinent property information and unique property considerations, as well as cash flow and breakeven calculations
•\tMeet with clients onsite and via Zoom to evaluate site conditions, determine the property’s ADU potential, and address considerations that will impact project feasibility and cost. Assist clients to help them determine the project scope, goals and budget.
•\tPresent design proposals, construction estimates and close deals with homeowners to move forward with their ADU project
•\tConsistently maintain a system for follow-up with clients and team members to address the next steps
•\tLog status, notes, and other important information in the company CRM
•\tCreate personal sales goals; track pipeline, sales, and conversion rates
•\tContribute to efforts to develop and hone internal systems to maximize effectiveness
•\tAttend weekly meetings and training with team members to constantly broaden knowledge regarding ADUs and market growth.
Qualifications:
•\tMinimum 2-3 years of experience in direct sales is preferred
•\tPrior construction sales or solar sales experience is preferred
•\tExperience, knowledge, or interest in ADUs is a big plus
•\tBasic knowledge of construction or design principles is a plus
•\tEducational or work experience in city planning or urban planning is a plus
•\tSelf-driven and works well in a fast-paced, productivity-oriented environment
•\tHighly personable, with the ability to quickly build rapport and relationships
•\tSomeone who never compromises on integrity
•\tExceptional communication, follow-up, and customer service skills
•\tRadiates positivity, confidence, and self-assuredness
•\tAble to conduct detailed investigations and decipher complex government code
•\tHighly organized and diligent with client follow-up
•\tAbility to work well both independently and with team members
•\tMust be located in the designated service area
•\tMust have an active driver’s license, and an operable, insured vehicle
