The Role

As a NPI Engineering Technician,, you will play a key role in the Sustaining Engineering Organization at Veev. You'll contribute to introducing new products, features, assemblies, components, product versions to various stakeholders of Manufacturing & Site Operations. This role offers the opportunity to work with various teams of supply chain, manufacturing, warehouse & inventory, training, operators, and engineering to deliver impeccable physical content through show-and-tell & advice, thus contributing to Veev's continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of training and content for delivery of new products to the line and to site operations
• Lead the front-line for support on the first 3 builds of any product, developed internally
• Lead efforts with operations for a show-and-tell, under the guidance of of the NPI Engineering team
• Accountable for gathering comprehensive feedback from all stakeholders when launching a product: supply chain, manufacturing, site operations, and engineering
• Accountable for performing root cause analysis for any misses on the NPI launch program
• Accountable for a safety-first-policy when launching products and/or equipment
• Support cross-functional teams in chasing down tasks to prevent blockers on execution of change, under the guidance of an NPI Engineer
• Support NPI customers, guiding them through the right channels of escalation, when problems rise beyond the NPI program
• Inform NPI Engineers / Managers, Design Engineers, and Operations Leaders on issues found during trial and during launch of the product
• Other duties and responsibilities of a general engineering technician as assigned.

• Technical Skills :
  • Google applications: sheets, docs, slidedeck, etc.
  • Engineering background
• ** Interpersonal Skills** : * Ability to stay organized and structured to deliver training and content. * Strong capability in following protocol of escalations when problems arise, with as many pictures and descriptions in a digestible format.
• ** Industry Knowledge** : * Expertise in Automotive, Energy, Semiconductor, Manufacturing, and Construction
• ** Education & Experience** : * Associates in Engineering or equivalent * Associates in Business or equivalent experience

Compensation

Offers are based on a combination of experience, skills, and location. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $40 - $50 Hourly for Hayward, CA
