Job Description

NSC Technologies is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Finance department in Atlanta Georgia. This candidate would be a member of the Finance team, that will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s weekly field and or corporate payrolls. The payroll specialist will provide timely and accurate financial information, participate in a daily data review and manage all aspects of the assigned customer’s payroll experience. This position will impact a rapidly growing organization.

PAYROLL SPECIALIST DESCRIPTION:

• Perform daily payroll department operations.
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
• Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits.
• Process correct garnishment and support order calculations and compliance.
• Execute professional protocols and personal confidentiality.
• Assist in the creation of payroll procedures.
• Process and deliver accurate and timely year-end reporting (W-2, W-2c, etc.)
• Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting.
• Process manual payments for corrections, advances and relocations.
• Maintain current knowledge of IRS and state regulations.
• Manage all expectations and processes of assigned customers.
