  • Responsibilities
    • Responsible for the technical performance and management of all of the services supported under Shared Services Administration Office in support of NASA'S Shared Services Center (NSSC).*
    • Skilled in continuous improvement methodologies; adept at change management; excellent leadership and personnel management skills; and well versed in performance measurement and tracking.*
    • Reports to a more-senior-level Project Manager or Program Manager

    Required Qualificaitons

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 10 years of functional area experience to include at least 3 years of direct project management experience
    • Must have knowledge of processes related to records management, metrics management of service delivery, contract support logistics, oversight of general business support, survey management, and customer relationship management
    • U.S. Citizenship required; Current and active Public Trust

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience supporting NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC)
    • Prior experience with procurement, human resources, and other business units supported by NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC).
    • FAR Fundamentals Certification and Contract Management Certification

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Journey level skill in construction, maintenance, and repair procedures, including preventative maintenance, breakdown repair and trouble-shooting, installation and fabrication techniques.
    • Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools.
    • Knowledge of building codes, rules, and regulations.
    • Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Strong demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and system diagrams.
    • Strong organizational skills with exceptional ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Ability work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.
    • Ability to work various shifts, days, nights, or weekends.
