Location: NYC & Hamptons Summer
Looking for local chefs of the New York area
Household: 1 Client
Food preferences:
-Americana (Steaks, Roast Chicken, Potatoes, Vegetables), Comfort Food
-Must be very familiar with: Classic American-Chinese, Mediterranean (Italian, French and Greek)
-Enjoys Simple Desserts (Fruit pie, layer cakes, tarts, souflee, chocolate mousse, etc...)
Plated/3 Courses (App, Entree, Dessert) every meal
Schedule Requirements: Varying / Must be flexible
-When Client is in town, 6 days week, Typically, 12 hours/day
-When Client is away, 5 days week - 8 hours/day expected
-Lunch & Dinner daily, breakfast occasionally
-Clients typically spends 4 – 5 mos/year in total, on East Coast
-Must be available year round
-Willingness to work all holidays and weekends
-Must maintain clean & operational kitchen in both houses
Experience Required:
-Minimum 5 years Full Time in Fine Dining
-Extensive knowledge of various cuisines and culinary techniques.
-Proven experience as a Private Chef for high net worth individuals.
-Previous experience working full time in a private household is desired. Preferably 3 years plus as Full Time/Year Round/Private Chef
-Intermediate to Advanced Baking Knowledge a must
-Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Benefits:
-Salary $165K/annual ++ Depending on Experience
