ROLE SUMMARY
The Training Manager will support thedevelopment of internally promoted Nandocas through Nando’s training pathways.This position will be responsible for every aspect of their assigned training programsfrom time of induction through graduation, including the delivery of trainingmaterials, creation of training schedules, and monitoring progress of trainees.The Training Manager will also ensure that all training restaurants are alignedon and executing Nando’s standards. This role will require a highly organizedindividual with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The TrainingManager will need to excel at relationship-building across the organization andfunction as an internal brand ambassador for Nando’s.

KEY FOCUS AREAS
TRAINING PATHWAYSUPPORT
- Ownthe Nando’s experience for newly promoted Nandocas who are going through yourassigned pathways.
- Responsiblefor every aspect of your assigned training programs from time of inductionthrough graduation, including the delivery of training materials, creation oftraining schedules, and monitoring progress of trainees.
- Ensureall training restaurants are aligned on and executing Nando’s standardsaccording to the program structure.
- Responsiblefor and own assigned training pathways and webinars through facilitation, review,and evaluation.
- Reviewexisting training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improveengagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs.
- Utilizea variety of development methods to suit different learning styles and toensure fit with Nando’s culture.
- Ensureall training solutions are in line with the Nando’s Values and are fit forpurpose, aligning with the L.E.A.D career ladder.
- Manageupdates and edits to all pathway content to ensure the training pathway is upto date (course notes, quizzes, workbook, and other related materials) usingthe relevant information available internally or externally including branding,SOP or policy changes.
- Updatetraining team as appropriate on materials to ensure no cross-over with othercourses / learning.
- Regularlycomplete an audit on assigned training pathway to identify any potentialtraining solutions to the business.
- Supportthe training team with the implementation and launch of training projects andupdates as and when needed.
- Responsiblefor completing midterms and finals and any other relevant assessment asassigned.
- Assistwith occasional course facilitation in other Nando’s North American Markets asrequired.
- Ensureall training initiatives are in line with the agreed upon budget.
TRAINING CONTENT SUPPORT
- Partnerwith the US and Canada trainers to ensure they have the knowledge, materials,and confidence to support training in their market.
- Identifyproblems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developmentsthat training could improve.
- Create and update training contentfor classes, workshops, and webinars for assigned training pathway.
- Partnerwith e-learning Instructional designer to integrate new training materials andother development tools into our LMS platform.
- Createand update training books and materials as and when needed.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year as an Assistant Patraoor above, direct training experience preferred.
- Ability to see training through an operationslens.
- Excellent written, verbal, andpresentation skills.
- Culture champion with the ability todeeply engage internal promotes on their Nando’s career journey.
- Ability to communicate effectivelywith everyone from hourly Nandocas to executive leadership.
- Ability to work independently and tocollaborate with others, including cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced,entrepreneurial environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office suite(Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Passion for coaching and developmentof people with the ability to positively influence others.
