A family in Warren is looking for a supportive nanny/mother’s helper for their 1-year-old child and newborn expected in August. The typical schedule is Monday through Thursday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Fridays from 4:00 pm to Midnight and optional Saturdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Duties include:
Engaging the child in developmentally appropriate activities. Supporting and tracking his nap and feeding schedule. Assisting Mom with diaper changes and preparing light meals and food for the child. Occasionally accompanying Mom and Baby to activities such as trips to the store or swimming lessons. Tidying up after the child, assisting with his laundry, doing light housework such as vacuuming, light cleaning of the kitchen dishes, and shopping for groceries. Assisting with nighttime routines for the child. Working alongside Mom to ensure the baby and household are cared for.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal nanny for this family is nurturing, reliable, and experienced with infants. They should be mature and have relevant life experience. They must be a team player and open to building strong, receptive, and supportive relationships with Mom, Dad, and the child. Looking for someone who is patient and devoted to becoming an extension of this family. This role will be working as a team with mom as a support to the family. This family is looking for a bilingual Nanny who speaks Spanish fluently.
About the child:
This 1-year-old is a typical happy infant. He is learning new things and exploring different activities and foods. He goes to swimming lessons once a week. He enjoys Elmo and tummy time.

These parents are welcome, structured, and organized. They are devoted and loving parents who like to take their child out of the house for new experiences. They are excited to find a nanny who will work with them as a team in all areas.
Benefits:
Salary plus paid vacation days off, paid holidays off, paid sick days off, and paid personal days off. This position will be paid on the books, with a maximum of $40 per hour gross (before taxes) pay.
