Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in South Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 17-month-old daughter and newborn (who is due to be born the first week of May). The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The best nanny for this family would be reliable, patient, organized, and experienced in caring for both infants and toddlers. Each day, the nanny would come in and keep their children on their schedule, meet their daily needs (feeding, changing, napping, playing), and foster a nurturing and educational environment. The nanny would be encouraged to read to their children, take them on strolls, do sensory and developmental activities, play inside the home and outside in the yard, do arts and crafts, and keep them involved in other fun activities throughout the day. Mom of this family is a stay-at-home mom and will be in and out of the home during the day. The nanny must be comfortable with a parent being in and out of the house daily. This is a long-term position, and the family is looking for a nanny to grow with them over the years.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal and bottle prep, and feeding their daughter

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher, washing the children’s dishes

• Tidying up the children’s room.

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Emptying diaper pail

Pets: The family has two dogs, a 4-year-old Rottweiler and a 15-year-old Dachshund.
The dogs are gated during the day, and the mom takes care of them. There will not be
any pet responsibilities expected; however, the nanny must be comfortable around dogs
and not allergic to them.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• The nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• It is preferred that the nanny is up to date on all vaccines.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• Legal pay is offered at $27.00 an hour; the pay rate is negotiable depending on experience and expertise
