Summary: National Airlines is currently searching for an AOG BUYER. National Airlines, based in Orlando, Florida operates scheduled and on-demand charter and cargo worldwide. Together with sister company, National Air Cargo, National offers integrated freight forwarding and customized cargo and passenger services utilizing National's 757-200s, A330-200 and 747-400 aircraft and specializing in over-sized, time sensitive, and special handling requirements. The AOG BUYER is a working Team member position responsible for the expedited purchases and logistics for AOG – Aircraft On Ground materials requirements in order to keep the aircraft on time. Position will work in coordination with Maintenance Control, On-Site Maintenance Representative and the Director of Materials and Materials Supervisor.
Position Expectations:
Source aircraft parts and services, either through company owed aircraft parts or on the market, to support AOG aircraft around the world.
Responsible for overseeing the shipping, forwarding, and routing of AOG parts.
Works with Maintenance Control and onsite Technicians to ensure the correct parts are being sourced and supplied in a timely manner for AOG aircraft.
Ensures proper communication is provided for all AOG parts movements.
Works DMI – Deferred Maintenance Item parts when possible to support on-time performance.
Ensures that all company policies/procedures per the GMM and FAA Regulations are adhered to.
Performs other duties as assigned by Materials Management.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Aviation materials and Inventory experience
Must speak, read and write English fluently
May be asked to travel domestically and internationally
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a record that meets our company’s insurance standards
Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance
Regular attendance and punctuality is required
Must have a positive attitude
Must pass a background check which includes a pre-employment drug test, finger printing and criminal history records check (CHRC)
Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to use technical manuals, good mechanical aptitude and solve problems effectively
Computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Office programs
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Team player with strong work ethics
Work Environment:
Office / Stockroom
Work shifts may vary – Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
