This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and updating of customer orders in a timely manner, adhering to customer guidelines, and maintaining high service standards. This role requires close collaboration with the Sales, Purchasing, Technical, and Logistics and Production Planning teams to optimize order management and customer satisfaction. Additionally, this position oversees all trade show planning and execution and coordinates travel and accommodation for sales and site service teams. The role also involves monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs,) and weekly sales reporting to ensure continuous improvement in sales operations and customer service delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure processes are consistently followed to deliver high levels of customer service. • Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Technical, and Production Planning teams to facilitate new account setups and maintain delivery commitments. • Support the Sales team in delivering exceptional customer service. • Manage and prepare detailed sales pack information and channel new orders into the Technical department. • Develop, track, and report customer service KPIs to measure departmental performance. • Accurately process customer sales orders and ensure timely communication with customers. • Coordinate with Production Planning, Transport, and purchasing to maintain data accuracy within the MPS system. • Liaise with Credit Control to ensure orders align with credit status policies. • Build strong customer relationships, proactively addressing queries and resolving issues related to delays. • Provide administrative support to the sales team's internal and external accounts, including delivering order updates. • Plan, manage, and execute all trade shows from start to finish. • Organize and facilitate travel and accommodation arrangements for sales and site service teams. • Serve as the first point of contact for customer order updates, complaints, ensuring clear lines of communication, prompt and effective resolution. This role is essential in ensuring smooth sales operations, efficient order fulfillment, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels while supporting business growth initiatives
