Job Summary We are seeking a loving, positive and experienced Preschool Teachers to join us! You will be leading a small class of students aged 2-5 through the seasons of their school year, creating magic and cultivating a love of the outdoors. We are a community of families and teachers who prioritize our children, and we strive daily to meet students’ collective and individual needs in a joyful nature based private preschool program.

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential.

Responsibilities

Follow a comprehensive curriculum that has been designed for the children.

Support the children in developing their social and emotional skills (being a wonderful friend)

Be comfortable in the outdoors and with extended periods of time in nature

Communicate well with parents and other school personnel

Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications

LOVE of children and the preschool environment

Nature savvy and comfortable in the outdoors

Ability to be quick, and masterful in active supervision skills

Strong understanding of children, child development, and best practices in education and classroom management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

Problem-solving and mediation skills
