  • Responsibilities

    Input Technology Solutions is seeking a Navy ERP Financial Analyst for a new fully remote opportunity!

    Education/Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
    • Minimum five (5) years of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience.
    • Minimum seven (7) years of federal financial management experience in roles such as accountant, financial auditor, financial analyst, etc.
    • Minimum of eight (8) years relevant work experience.

    Preferred Capabilities:

    • Familiar with NAVY ERP’s funds management/financial accounting modules, workflows, and transaction codes.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to seek underlying assumptions through probing, questioning, and listening.
    • Strong general accounting skills and thorough knowledge of US GAAP.
    • Intermediate to expert excel knowledge to be able to support generating reports and manipulating data to include information from several documents into one resource.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret DoD financial data to detect trends/anomalies in accounting system transactions to determine effect on the General Ledger (GL) accounts.
    • Analyze and assess current and historical financial data for the purpose of developing special reports for use in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and usefulness of financial reporting.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and must provide customer service both internally and externally.
    • Analyzing and providing recommendations to reconciling the following:
    • Abnormal Balances
    • Tie Points
    • Reimbursable Work Orders (RWOs)
    • Unmatched Transactions (UMTs)
    • Journal Vouchers

    Preferred Certifications

    • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or Certified Government financial Manager (CGFM) certification is preferred.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is preferred.

    Security Clearance Requirements

    • Current SECRET (S) clearance or higher
