Neapco is seeking a results-driven individual to join our team as a Forecast Demand Analyst. The Forecast Demand Analyst will be responsible for forecast planning, estimating product demand, and working cross-functionally with Components team members and vendors to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained. This position will report to the Forecast Demand Manager and is a remote position. Ideal candidates will reside in the Detroit, Michigan or the Lincoln, Nebraska area. Compensation dependent upon qualifications. Key Responsibilities * Work cross-functionally with Neapco team members and vendors to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained * Develop metrics to assist in predicting projected inventory requirements and expected demand for the company's products, to include minimum and maximum stock and safety stock levels * Ranking reports * ABC and Pareto Analysis * Review and monitory supply and demand information and take appropriate actions to ensure material availability in support of production schedules * Maintain customer portals * Monitor the forecast trends and make changes as needed, comparing current sales with historical information * Analyze customer releases and shipments schedules; monitor and assist, as necessary, production scheduling activities to meet customer delivery schedules, optimize inventory turns and machine and manpower availability * Use a variety of tools and software to analyze data and convert the information into charts, tables, or graphs * Develop metrics to validate forecasting accuracy and communicate corrective actions to ensure timely resolution * Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills * Experience using software for statistical forecasting or demand planning * Strong analytical, numerical, math, statistical and computer skills * Advanced problem-solving skills * Strong written and oral communication skills * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Education and Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, logistics, accounting, business administration or related field * 3-5 years of experience in demand forecasting in the automotive industry * Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and/or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation preferred Neapco recognizes that our team members are our most valuable asset, and we are committed to providing them with a safe, drug-free workplace fostering respect and ethical treatment.
