Driver
Safe Driving Practices:
Drive safely in various weather conditions.
Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule.
Patient Care and Transport:
Load and unload patients via wheelchair and stretcher.
Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the transportation process.
Interact courteously with facility staff, including receptionists, nurses, and other personnel.
Coordinate efficiently with facility staff to ensure seamless patient handovers
Vehicle Maintenance and Supplies:
Report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Maintain the van and equipment, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and in good working condition before, during, and after every use.
Monitor and restock necessary supplies in the vehicle, ensuring it is well-prepared for each trip.
Technology Proficiency:
Operate basic cell phone and iPad application functions.
Utilize an iPad with routing software for efficient navigation and scheduling.
Internal Communication:
Collaborate with the administrative team to address logistical challenges promptly and maintain open lines of communication.
Report any issues or concerns promptly to the designated supervisor, contributing to a resolution-oriented environment.
