Job Description

• Network Maintenance & Management:

* Install, configure, and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
* Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
* Maintain and update network diagrams and documentation.

• Security & Compliance:

* Implement and maintain network security protocols to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure.
* Manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Troubleshooting & Support:

* Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
* Provide technical support for network-related inquiries from staff.
* Work with vendors and service providers to resolve connectivity issues.

• Network Optimization:

* Monitor network traffic and performance to identify areas for improvement.
* Implement network enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
* Research and recommend new technologies to improve network operations.

• Backup & Recovery:

* Ensure network configurations are backed up regularly.
* Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures for network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and architecture.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, routers, and switches (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
• Knowledge of VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
• Familiarity with network security tools and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
