    Summary:

    The IT Systems Administrator III will demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering and administering on mission critical infrastructure, and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. Qualified systems administrators will have a background in IT, Server Administration, Storage and Backup Administration, Project Management, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving (general skillset.)

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
    • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
    • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
    • Follow Best Practice Guidelines and Departmental Policies and Procedures, where appropriate, to maintain and administer Server (virtual and physical) and backup/DR infrastructure.
    • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with IT Pulse Center team members to implement those fixes.
    • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
    • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
    • Take the lead in the project management and implementation of operational support systems.
    • Provide 2nd and 3rd tier level support to the Helpdesk as needed.
    • Document all pertinent information using the appropriate call-tracking/ticketing system.
    • Reinforce customer retention through exemplary problem solving and service.
    • Other job duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from Accredited College or University OR Equivalent Professional Experience
    • 8+ years of IT Support and troubleshooting experience.
    • 8+ years’ experience with Customer Service Skills
    • Experience troubleshooting current operating systems.
    • Advanced troubleshooting skills
    • Hardware – Servers, Switches, Firewalls, Workstations (Windows and iOS), Phones (VOIP), Mobile Devices, and central management software
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; polite and professional demeanor
    • Partner with all customers despite varied technical abilities.
    • Strong mobile device and MDM experience (Intune, Casper JAMF, or similar)

    Experience with:

    • Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 Administration
    • Microsoft Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online Certifications (Relevant experience will be considered equivalent to certification)
    • Azure and Windows Active Directory/Azure SAML SSO
    • Google Suite Administration for Business or Education
    • Aruba Wireless CLI/Network Experience
    • Firewall Administration for one or more of the following manufacturers: Cisco, Dell, SOPHOS, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, PfSense
    • Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows, iOS, UNIX/Linux based environments.
    • Solid Cloud experience, preferably in Azure and/or AWS
    • VOIP Switching and Application Experience, including SBC and IVR
    • Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Docker)
    • Storage Area Network Experience in one or more of the following brands: HP, Nexsan, NetApp, Nimble, Datto, Rubrik, True Nas
    • Intermediate scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Windows/VBA, Cisco/HP/DELL CLI, Linux OS)
    • Intermediate networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, ITIL 4.0)
    • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Intune Deployment and Configuration Manager (SCCM) experience highly preferred

    Pay: $68,500.00 - $72,500.00 Annually
