ECNF has immediate part-time openings for neurofeedback technicians. This individual must be comfortable with learning to interface with technology, have a readiness to learn, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and have an interest in and ability to work with individuals who are receiving mental health services. Prior experience in neurofeedback is not required for this position; we will train you! Part-time position with the potential for expanding hours; in-person only - all hours are conducted in our office located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Hours include late afternoon/early evenings, (Saturday availability a plus, hours would be flexible 8-12, 10-2). The technician will be trained in the administration of neurofeedback and will work under the direction of a clinical mental health professional. Candidate must be reliable, professional, and comfortable working with adults and children. Experience with mental health and neurodiversity is a plus but not required. Responsibilities: • Work directly with clients in one-on-one neurofeedback sessions • Guide clients through the neurofeedback process, including utilizing software and EEG equipment, explanation of the process, and answering any questions as necessary • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all clients • Assume responsibility for communicating client progress to team members/supervisor • Coordinate scheduling of appointments and keep track of sessions delivered • Manage clients and their progress • Keep track of updates provided by the client • Responsible for entering session notes within established system and documentation timelines • Maintain Best Practices and Exceptional Customer Care • Work closely and maintain effective communication with the team • Comfort with troubleshooting through technical or practical issues • Open and/or close the office • Providing neurofeedback sessions with clients. This involves using interviewing and communication skills to assess progress made between sessions, then placing sensors on clients' head and ears, setting up the software program, monitoring the session with attention to client experience (answering basic questions and offering assurances for client comfort), intervene in case of technical difficulties, and removing and cleaning conductive paste from clients ears and scalp • Cleaning sensors and neurofeedback rooms between clients • Interacting with patients with behavioral or health concerns with patience and compassion • Documentation of client updates daily in our record system • Administrative duties, as assigned • Staying up to date on our practices and procedures, website and blogs • Attending weekly meetings Qualifications: Core Competencies Required: • Commitment to Client Care • Client Compassion • Passionate about health and wellness • Personal Work Ethic, including punctuality • Concern & Consistency with Detail • Communication • Problem Solving • Maintaining Technical Proficiency • Time Management and Coordination of Workflow • Support and speak positively of team members, contribute to our collective success • Self-sufficient in nature, but works well with teams Open to Learning: • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office • How to work with children, adolescents and adults with neurological or neurodevelopmental conditions Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
