    Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated New Client Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the Illinois Hammer Injury Law Firm. With a team of experienced attorneys, we are dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to our clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to justice and ensuring that injury victims receive the compensation they deserve. As an Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal representation for personal injury and workers compensation cases. Your primary responsibility will be to gather essential information from potential clients, evaluate the merit of their cases, and ensure they receive the assistance they need to start their legal process effectively.

    ** Please Note: This position requires some evening and weekend shifts**

    Responsibilities:

    1. Client Interaction: Answer phone calls and respond to emails from potential clients promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and understanding while discussing sensitive personal injury and workers compensation matters.
    2. Case Evaluation: Conduct initial consultations to gather information about the potential client's case. Assess the viability of the potential case by evaluating the facts and circumstances surrounding the injury or accident. Collaborate with attorneys to determine the merit of claims.
    3. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, case details, and relevant documents. Complete intake forms and paperwork required for new clients, ensuring all client data is confidential and handled in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
    4. Client Support: Provide information to potential clients about the legal process and the services offered by the firm. Offer guidance and resources to potential clients regarding medical treatment and documentation.
    5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to streamline the intake process and maintain open communication. Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on procedures and changes.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent verbal communication skills and sense of empathy
    • Sales experience a plus
    • Experience with Salesforce a plus
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Law firm experience preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications a plus.
