Responsibilities for the New Construction Electrician:
- Install and troubleshoot electrical systems and components, from rough-in to final trim, ensuring code compliance and functionality.
- Skillfully install commercial service equipment and conduit systems.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of electricians and project leaders to meet project timelines and goals.
- Interpret complex architectural blueprints and apply knowledge of electrical codes to ensure accurate installations.
- Maintain open and clear communication with general contractors and other trades to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Mentor and guide Electrical Apprentices, sharing knowledge and fostering their development in the trade.
- Prioritize safety by always adhering to General Construction and Safety protocols.
Requirements for the New Construction Electrician:
- Minimum of 2-5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical new construction projects.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or technical certification is a plus, but not required.
- OSHA-10 certification demonstrating commitment to safety.
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to apply NEC electrical code book.
- Journeyman's license is highly preferred.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
- Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Tech-savvy and excellent communication skills.
