Overview:

Our client is  seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to grow and develop their accounting skills within a supportive and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. If you have less experience but are eager to learn and take on more responsibilities over time, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

\- Perform general accounting tasks, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

\- Understand and differentiate between income statement (Profit and Loss) accounts and balance sheet accounts.

\- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all financial records, with a strong commitment to checking your own work and being accountable for it.

\- Take initiative in your work, demonstrating self-motivation and a drive to grow within the company.

\- Show a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as you develop your skills and experience.

Qualifications:

Education: Degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred).

Skills: Basic understanding of accounting fundamentals, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Knowledge: Familiarity with the difference between income statement accounts and balance sheet accounts.

Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks.

Growth-Oriented: A desire to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities over time.

Motivated: Demonstrated history or signs of self-motivation and drive.

Experience: Candidates with less experience but strong potential for growth and development are preferred.
