Responsibilities: • Schedule and complete selection appointment(s) with Buyers(s) within the timeframe provided at the start of the contract in the pre-construction process. • Create and maintain a welcoming and memorable experience for all customers. • Schedule, host, and conduct Design Center Previews on a regular basis (minimum 2/month). • Communicate proactively, and update Sales and other team members regarding all customer interactions, so that all customer-facing personnel present a consistent message at all times. • Complete Selections for Models and Ready Homes within the timeframe provided at the start of the contract in the pre-construction process. Record and submit documentation and complete Change Orders for approval. • Follow up and resolve all customer and vendor questions and concerns regarding selections in a decisive and timely fashion. • Keep all Design Center displays up to date with current products, promptly removing all discontinued products. Qualifications: • 1-3 years prior experience in Interior Design. • Experience in residential design preferred. • Minimum technical college degree. • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and intrapersonal skills. • Ability to work in a Team environment, lead a positive atmosphere and work with other departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency. • Excellent time management and organization skills. • Adaptable to changing work priorities while meeting deadlines. • Ability to read and comprehend detailed construction blueprints, specifications, and basic development drawings. • Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and back-office systems. • Technical construction ability to plan efficient construction and price custom selection options. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
