SCEE are seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors for our Newman operations team working on various BHP sites in the region. The roster is 2 weeks on and 1 week off.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Ensure all personnel maintain safe systems of work
- Plan activities in accordance with standards and to minimise inefficiencies
- Direct and coordinate the workforce for electrical and instrumentation requirements of the contract
- Participate in safety investigations, reporting and discussions
- Participate in Quality Assurance audits
- Liaise with client and contractor representatives
- Monitor relevant site instruction to ensure costs are captured and agreed to
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL HAVE;
- Strong onsite experience as an Electrical Supervisor
- Previous experience working on BHP project sites or similar
- A high level of commitment to safety
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Sound negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Experience with contractual compliance and client liaising
- Desire to continually improve
- Hold a current WA A Grade Electrical Licence
- Have a valid Drivers Licence
- Have LVR CPR certificate (completed within the past 12 months)
- Have Provide First Aid (completed within the past 3 years)
- Have WAIO BHP Electrical Workers Induction certificate (preferred)
- Have Section 44 training (preferred)
