    JOB SUMMARY THE SENIOR ENTERPRISE DATA QUALITY ANALYST IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSESSING THE CONSISTENCY OF THE QUALITY ASSURANCE STANDARDS THAT DATA OWNERS/CUSTODIANS FOLLOW. USING A COMPREHENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF DATA GOVERNANCE BEST PRACTICES, ENSURES COMPLIANCE WITH THE QUALITY ASSURANCE STANDARDS, AND PERIODICALLY PERFORMS A PROCESS OF DATA PROFILING AND TESTING ON COMPLEX DATA SOURCES TO DISCOVER INCONSISTENCIES AND OTHER ANOMALIES IN THE DATA, ROOT CAUSE, AND REPORTS RESULTS ACCORDINGLY. THIS ROLE WORKS CLOSELY WITH DATA OWNERS TO MAINTAIN METADATA, DATA DICTIONARIES AND LINEAGE, AS PRESCRIBED BY DATA GOVERNANCE STANDARDS. THIS DATA MONITORING REDUCES BUSINESS, REGULATORY AND REPUTATIONAL RISK OF POOR QUALITY DATA, BY ENSURING THE BANK'S DATA IS PREDICTABLE, CONTROLLED AND RELIABLE.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • COLLABORATES WITH DATA OWNERS TO IDENTIFY CRITICAL KEY DATA ITEMS THAT REQUIRES CLOSE MONITORING AND CONTROLS, UNDERSTANDS KEY RISKS, DOCUMENTS COMPLEX SYSTEM AND BUSINESS PROCESS DATA FLOWS AND AUTOMATED CONTROLS.
    • COORDINATES WITH IT TO OBTAIN DIRECT ACCESS TO DATA SOURCES REQUIRED FOR DATA ANALYSIS AND TESTING IN SUPPORT OF SAMPLING METHODS AND ASSESSMENT ACTIVITIES.
    • ESTABLISHES AND COMMUNICATES KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS AND RELATED BENCHMARKS, AS POLICY, FOR THE DATA OWNERS TO COMPLY WITH.
    • IN COORDINATION WITH DATA OWNERS, PERFORMS COMPLEX DATA REVIEWS AND CHALLENGES TO DETERMINE ROOT CAUSES FOR DATA QUALITY FAILURES AND SUPPORTS PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS AND DATA CLEANSE ACTIVITIES.
    • PARTICIPATES IN MULTIPLE ASSIGNMENTS AND MANAGES AND PRIORITIZES TIME AND RESOURCES TO MEET ESTABLISHED MILESTONES AND DELIVERABLES WITHIN BUDGET AND IN ADHERENCE TO THE DEPARTMENTAL DOCUMENTATION AND QUALITY STANDARDS.
    • ANALYZES STRUCTURED AND UNSTRUCTURED DATA AND UNDERSTANDS COMPLEX DATA AND SYSTEM RELATIONSHIPS AND DELIVERS TARGETED AUTOMATED TESTING RESULTS TO FACILITATE EFFICIENT SUPPORT OF QUALITY ASSURANCE ACTIVITIES.
    • RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING METADATA, DATA DICTIONARIES AND LINEAGE OF THE BANK'S DATA, AS PRESCRIBED BY DATA GOVERNANCE STANDARDS.
    • DESIGNS, DEVELOPS AND USES REPEATABLE AUTOMATED TESTS, SCRIPTS, AND DATA QUALITY TESTING TOOLS TO ACHIEVE PROCESS EFFICIENCIES.
    • UTILIZES DATA VISUALIZATION TECHNIQUES TO PROVIDE COMPELLING SUPPORT FOR TEST CONCLUSIONS AND SUITABLE FOR COMMUNICATING AUDIT RESULTS TO BUSINESS AUDIENCES.
    • APPLIES INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES, TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGIES INCLUDING ADVANCED DATA SCIENCE TECHNIQUES, STATISTICAL ANALYSIS, AND USE OF ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION TO ADVANCE THE QUALITY ASSURANCE PROCESS.
    • FOSTERS A TEAM ENVIRONMENT, IS INCLUSIVE AND WORKS CONSTRUCTIVELY WITH OTHERS.
    • A KEY MEMBER AND CONTRIBUTOR TO THE DATA QUALITY ASSURANCE WORKING GROUP, THROUGH REPORTING, TRANSPARENCY, AND EXECUTION ON COMMON STANDARDS AND BEST PRACTICE.
    • MENTORS ENTERPRISE DATA QUALITY ANALYSTS TO ENSURE STANDARD INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICE APPROACHES TO QUALITY ASSURANCE ARE APPLIED CONSISTENTLY AS PRESCRIBED BY DATA GOVERNANCE STANDARDS.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • BACHELOR'S DEGREE WITH SPECIALIZATION IN FINANCE, ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS DATA ANALYTICS, COMPUTER SCIENCE, OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE.
    • MINIMUM THREE (3) YEARS DATA AUDIT, DATA QUALITY CONTROL OR DATA QUALITY ASSURANCE EXPERIENCE IN FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY OR RELATED FIELD, WITH PREFERENCE FOR BANKING EXPERIENCE.
    • DATA GOVERNANCE AND STEWARDSHIP PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION PREFERRED.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • EXCELLENT WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF TOOLS INCLUDING SQL, VBA, PYTHON, R, AND EXCEL FOR DATA EXTRACTION, MANIPULATION AND ANALYSIS.
    • EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING AND AUTOMATING AUDIT TESTING USING SCRIPTING LANGUAGES PREFERRED.
    • STRONG ANALYTICAL SKILLS AND STRONG JUDGEMENT.
    • STRONG COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE IN DATA VISUALIZATION TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES.
