    Job Description

    The People & Culture Business Partner(PCBP) will contribute to the organization by partnering with employees and leaders across the organization to execute strategies focused on employee relations, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. The PCBP reports to the Senior Director of People & Culture.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: In addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:

    • Support Nextech’s growing workforce across all functions of HR as needed
    • Actively engage in talent management including performance and progressive discipline – includes regular meetings with leaders across the organization
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition to champion workplace culture and employer branding as it pertains to talent attraction and retention, as well as employee engagement activities
    • Work with our HRIS Analyst to administer our performance management system - includes guiding and mentoring employees and managers across the organization through our process

    OTHER DUTIES:

    • Coordinate and promote iCREATE company values award program
    • Manage service recognition award program
    • Assist with new hire onboarding as needed
    • Review and manage job descriptions for all employees
    • Assist Talent Acquisition Team as needed
    • Facilitate employee surveys: new hire survey, engagement survey, etc.
    • Manage and distribute org charts
    • Coordinate and co-facilitate situational leadership II training - quarterly
    • Assist with coordination of wellness activities
    • Assist with Facilities Management as needed
    • Miscellaneous HR Administration duties as needed
    • Currently no direct reports, but likely in the future
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5+ years HR experience
    • 3+ years employee relations experience
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
    • Creative thinker with exceptional judgment and professionalism
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with shifting priorities and ability to adapt quickly to change
    • Self-starter; proactive and driven

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • PHR or SHRM-CP Certification
    • Experience administering one or more prominent HRIS systems

    Additional Information

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

    • General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels
    • Periods of stress may occur

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor
    • Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel
