NielsenIQ is seeking a talented Pre-Sales Enablement Manager to play a key role in enabling sellers to be more efficient and stay focused on winning business through contract signature. Reporting to the SVP / GM of Product Insights, this role will work with cross functional teams (Sales, Sales Ops, Modeling, Data Science, Product) to develop pre-sales materials that resonate with a client’s needs as well as creating and delivering some of the ad hoc reports. An ideal candidate is a proactive, deadline driven task manager with a proven track record for creating process and implementing improvements. You have a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing highly effective and engaged teams. You are motivated by making an impact with your sales teams and your Pre-Sales Enablement team. You thrive on recognizing a challenge, implementing a solution, monitoring success and continuously thinking outside the box to optimize new or existing processes. Must be passionate about ensuring a positive customer experience and understand how to personalize messaging to ensure buyers have the right information at the right time to make decisions quickly and confidently. The ideal candidate is detail oriented with excellent communication, active listening skills and people management skills with familiarity with the sales process.
Responsibilities:
Effectively manage day-to-day tasks with a high degree of autonomy to ensure opportunities progress to close won as quickly as possible through efficient time management and prioritization, and process development or improvement; including assisting with pitches, pricing and proposals and coordinating with cross functional team members .
Partner with the Product Insights sales team to strategize and create client specific content that advances the go-to-market efforts.
Act as an expert and become a steward of our unique data sets so that you can create and deliver client paid ad hoc reports and analyses that align to a scope of work / agreement.
Partner with the Segmentation team (modeling team) to understand segmentation outputs and package those into client deliverables. This candidate will also be client facing and will be expected to present the findings in an externally facing environment.
Build successful relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple departments (including Sales, Finance, Product)
Adapt existing content (including but not limited to pitch decks, proposals, RFP response templates) based on sales insight, persona and segment
Effectively manage numerous requests concurrently and on deadline, identifying areas of inefficiency and proposing/developing solutions applicable across the Pre-Sales Enablement team; includes managing expectations with outstanding communication and escalating delays to leader in timely manner
Build and utilize reports to identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and alert sellers of at-risk opportunities; Early adopter of CRM processes, teaching team members, and driving adoption among sales groups
Proactively identify opportunities with ideas for resolution to improve the sales process, resolve inconsistencies and give insightful feedback to cross functional stakeholders in an effort to improve efficiency across the sales cycle
Support product releases by becoming an expert of new products / features, serve as a knowledge resource for sellers and team, and provide timely feedback to Product Marketing on information requested by both sellers and clients
Price out products (based upon a designated rate card) for select ad hoc deliverables.
Qualifications
4+ years of related work experience including people management in Sales or Sales Operations
Bachelor’s degree required
Demonstrated ability to think strategically through identification of problems and implement successful, tactical solutions applicable across multiple sales groups
Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and keen ability to prioritize tasks to ensure business critical objectives are met
Skilled at building strong working relationships with team members in varying departments and/or senior levels of management
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Understanding of the sales cycle and common pain points sellers encounter with a desire to drive improvements
Experience building and / or using sales performance reporting in a CRM, Power BI or similar software
Excellent written, verbal and active listening skills
Prior exposure to pricing and contracting processes
Prior exposure to SaaS technology
Ability to drive productivity working in a remote, fast paced environment with high autonomy
