2-2-3 Schedule, 7p-7:30a, pay BOE 60-65K

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for managing production employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. Plans, and assigns work, makes recommendations for improvements in production methods, cost savings and operating procedures. Responsible to ensure all employees are operating in a safe manner and following all policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• • Plans, assign, and monitor workflow for production employees
• • Ensure Shift Production Goals and Quality Standards are met
• • Ensure all employees are performing their duties safely
• • Address potential hazards that could result in injury
• • Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
• • Balance Quality, Productivity, Cost, Safety and Morale to achieve positive results in all areas
• • Monitor performance measures and provide regular progress reports to Management
• • Address performance issues and discipline employees as necessary
• • Participate in scheduled Supervisory and Management meetings
• • Prepare analysis of activities on request
• • Review/Approve employee timekeeping records
• • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• • Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience in Manufacturing/Production environment
• • Reading, writing and mathematical skills required
• • High School Diploma or equivalent required
• • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
