    Stacy’s @ Melrose is a vibrant LGBTQ+ bar located in the heart of the Melrose District. Known for its inclusive atmosphere, dynamic events, and top-tier entertainment, we pride ourselves on providing a safe and welcoming space for our community.

    Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons, staff, and property while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Monitor the entrance to ensure only eligible patrons are admitted, checking IDs as necessary.

    Conduct routine patrols of the bar and surrounding areas to maintain a safe environment.

    Address and resolve disturbances, ensuring issues are handled calmly and respectfully.

    Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with questions or concerns.

    Enforce bar policies, including safety and alcohol regulations.

    Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in evacuations if needed.

    Qualifications:

    Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.

    Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.

    Current Arizona DPS Guard Card (or ability to obtain one).

    Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all patrons, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community.

    Schedule:

    Night and weekend availability required, with shifts typically during peak hours of operation.

    Compensation:

    $20 / hour
