    Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nighttime Janitorial Supervisor to join our team. This role requires leadership skills to train, supervise, and manage a team responsible for floor cleaning and other janitorial tasks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in floor care, the ability to substitute and take on tasks as needed, and experience leading and mentoring staff. You will play a key role in ensuring high cleaning standards are consistently met while maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

    Schedule & Pay:

    Shift: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Night Shift)

    Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour (90-day review and performance evaluation)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Training & Supervision: Lead, train, and support a team of janitorial staff to maintain high cleaning standards for floors and other areas. Ensure proper training in all aspects of janitorial duties, including floor care, equipment usage, and cleaning methods.

    Floor Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure that floors are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained according to company standards and industry best practices. Oversee the use of floor cleaning machines and products, ensuring the team is familiar with their safe and efficient use.

    Substitute Duties: Step in to assist with janitorial tasks, especially floor care, during busy periods or when additional help is needed.

    Team Leadership: Manage and direct the team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in accordance with safety and quality standards. Provide regular feedback to team members and address any performance issues promptly.

    Training & Development: Mentor and train new and existing staff, providing guidance on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and performance expectations. Foster a positive work environment through coaching and ongoing development.

    Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all cleaning tasks are performed in compliance with company and health and safety regulations. Regularly inspect equipment and materials to ensure they are safe for use.

    Project Start-Ups: Help oversee new cleaning projects or area transitions, ensuring the team is prepared, tasks are organized, and all necessary resources are in place.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    Proven experience in janitorial work, with specific knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and equipment.

    Supervisory experience, with the ability to manage personnel, delegate tasks effectively, and lead a team.

    Ability to substitute for tasks as needed, including performing janitorial duties and maintaining the cleanliness of floors and surfaces.

    Experience in training and mentoring staff in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

    Knowledge of health and safety standards related to janitorial work, including cleaning products and machinery.

    Skills & Attributes:

    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing team performance.

    Strong communication skills, both in English and Spanish, to train and manage team members.

    Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

    Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

    Physical & Availability Requirements:

    Must be available to work the night shift hours

    Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

    Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, where tasks need to be completed quickly and efficiently.

    Additional Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

    Be Bi-lingual in both English and Spanish (Required)

    Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required.
