Job Summary The Non-Profit Controller is a key member of the finance team with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of non-profit accounting principles, attention to detail, and a commitment to the organization’s goals.
Responsibilities Oversee accounting, and reporting activities. Prepare and analyze financial statements. Lead day-to-day finance operations, including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and grants administration Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements Maintain internal controls and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Coordinates and oversee the annual financial audits Analyze financial data and present accurate financial reports.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). Extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Experience with non-profit accounting and grant management.
